(İM. Fellows and M. Rogers 1967)

All you Hobbits gather round
Gonna make it with the sound
Reaching out to every town in Middle-earth

Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives

Frodo Baggins used to say
[...............] and play
Let us Hobbits show the way to peace and mirth

Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives

There's a party on the knoll
Pass the pipe and share the bowl
While we sing the song of troll, the Elven-king

Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives

Through the wind and through the rain
Black Riders ride in vain
Frodo Baggins will be made Lord of the Ring

Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives
Frodo Lives...

Artist Comment: "Billy Vaughn, M. (Milt) Rogers (who was working with him), M. Fellows (whom we believe was the well known producer, Robert M. Fellows, going incognito), Charles Aragon and I (Dennis Moore), put forth a combined effort to put out a Hobbit record in order to take advantage of the Hobbit craze of the time. Fellows and Rogers (mostly Fellows) wrote the song "Frodo Lives". Charles Aragon, G. (Gilbert) Gonzales, and I were the vocalists. The song was recorded in Billy's "home" studio in his back yard in, if I remember correctly, Encino. Bunny Robyn actually was the studio engineer who recorded us on Billy's 3 track Ampex recorder. The 45 record was on the Zar label owned by Billy Vaughn. The production was later picked up by producer Steve Douglas (yes, the Wrecking Crew sax player) who was working for Mercury Records, the parent company of Smash. Frodo Lives was released on the Smash label with Jolly Good Fellow, which was written by Charles and myself, and then later Philips, which bought Mercury, released our Adobe production of "Jolly Good Fellow", sung by Barry Mitchell."
