The Shadow of the Dark Lord,
Can see without sight,
Over mionds that are but empty voids,
He burns the last shred of light,

In the west men pray and kneel,
to a God they love and fear,
that the dark cloud from the east,
Shall be destroyed and so to cease,
the torment of their minds.

There's a pall over Ithillian,
A shudder in the dark,
Shadows racing overhead,
and raiders in the Mark,

To the Havens we will make,
Peace shall follow in our wake,
Ageless ancient and ever-wild,
We shall make the other side...
Home at last.

The eye has a vicious ring,
Can't walk another mile,
The ring it's a malicious thing,
but I remember your smile...

In the west men pray and kneel,
to a God they love and fear,
that the dark cloud from the east,
Will be destroyed and so shall cease,

To the Havens we will make,
Peace shall follow in our wake,
Ageless ancient and ever-wild,
We shall make the other side...
The Other Side
