(İManlio Greco 2004)

Once upon a time, listen to these rhimes,
was the time for the treasure to be regained
on a mountain top, in a Durin's day
they returned to their halls, cast the drake away

The heart of the mountain, the Arkenstone
Brought madness in their hearts
Five armies clashed on the battlefield
The drake raised in the dark

A great shape flies by night
With flames enlight the sky
It spreads its wings of drake
To cover all the lake

Then it breaths its fire, people run and hide
Spread a deal of destruction side by side
People burn and die, falling into tides
Those flames on the lake were the only lights

On the top of a roof there's a standing man
A longbow in his hand
He came from a distant place called Dale
And Bard is just his name

Chorus:
We sing the song of the town on the lake
That was destroyed by the fire of a drake
One man just stand with his bow in his hand
His arrow saved all the folk of the land

"There's a hole through the scales of the Golden One"
said the bird, he realized he could understand
"Let your arrow fly to the dragon heart
or the town on the lake will be blown apart"

"Black arrow I saved you to be the last,
I've always got you back,
If you do come from the mountain halls,
Fly straight and fast, good luck!"

Chorus:
Now bend your bow to the heart of the drake
(And Bard was just his name)
Save all the men of the town on the lake
(The archer of the Lake)
Strike now, don't miss, there is no time to waste
(He's stroke the dragon down)
Bring back the bliss to the folk of the lake
(Defender of the Town)

Chorus:
Now bend your bow to the heart of the drake
Save all the men of the town on the lake
Strike now, don't miss, there's no time to waste
Bring back the bliss to the folk of the lake

Chorus:
We sing the song of the town on the lake
That was destroyed by the fire of a drake
One man just stand with his bow in his hand
His arrow saved all the folk of the land

Now bend your bow to the heart of the drake
Save all the men of the town on the lake
Strike now, don't miss, there's no time to waste
Bring back the bliss to the folk of the lake
